I like challenges, period. They bring my soul some fun, happiness, and a pretty great feeling of fulfillment. Also, if not overwhelming they give the impression of flying freely, therefore; I decided to fly high with my UI daily experiments in this journey of 100 days.
What is UI Challenge?
The Daily UI Challenge is a series of daily Design Challenges that are intended to inspire and help designers to improve their skills by creating their own versions of various UI elements.
Why Did I Decide to Participate?
As a UX Designer that hasn't had any formal design background, other than the UX bootcamp, (which I am very grateful for), I didn't have much self-confidence in creating designs. So, this experiment was meant to improve my creative skills using different tools. I also love to stay fresh with the current design trends and the UI challenges gave me the opportunity to find more inspiration and try out and have fun with various tendencies and styles.

What I Have Learnt?
I am only at the very beginning of the challenge journey, but I can already see the improvement and definitely the benefits of this little experiment.
- —It gives me an opportunity to improve my time management
- —It improves my workflow, and forces me to be more organized
- —It calls to my researching and discovering nature by digging deeper for each design
- —It reminds me of a user being number one by creating user-centered visuals and interfaces
- —It allows me to play, have fun without limits and experiment in a positive way
- —It slowly develops my own taste and helps with preferences.
So far, I perceive this challenge in a very positive light, it allows me to gain more exposure to the UI World, build more confidence in my own creations, and grow a little more as a UX Designer.
